The Blue Plate Special is a Devil Ray

Two senior citizens faced off at Fenway Park last night and after finishing their tea and adjusting their dentures, they each pitched a pretty good game. Schilling, as per usual, pitched just well enough to lose. Derek Jeter, the captain (sorry, Jason), launched a two-run shot into the Monster Seats late in the game to cut the Red Sox lead to 4.5 games. The Red Sox rallied in the the 9th but Big Sloppy weakly popped out to Jeter to end the game. Boo-Hoo. The Red Sox face Toronto tonight, while the Yankees play Baltimore. The season is coming down to a 13 game stretch and except for Beckett- who’s pitching for the Red Sox? Tumbling Dice? Schilling? Wakefield? Who’s the 5th starter? Hoo-Hoo!
