The Wheels Coming Off The Wagon is a Devil Ray

In case you haven’t noticed, the Devil Rays are 8-2 in their last 10 games, and that includes clubbing the Yankee last night. The Yankees lost, you say? Yes, they did, and so did the Red Sox. So, the Red Sox’s lead is still 5- just where it was at this same time in 1978. The Red Sox are coming apart at the seams- Manny, Wakefield, and Drew, are hurt. No clutch hits in weeks (if you exclude the White Sox series and you should). But don’t fret, minor league help is on the way- and they always perform well in a pennant race, right? I love this game.
