Supporting The Troops is not a Devil Ray

And besides, they are heavily armed and really have little need of our support. For the most part, they care little about what we think and simply hope to make it home without being maimed or killed, and we can only hope the same for them. Taken as a whole, their performance in Iraq has been hard to admire, too many innocent Iraqis have been killed, imprisioned, and left unprotected. A failed policy implemented ineptly by the military has left little room for glory here. No one should be proud, and there is nothing to celebrate today, despite the celebrations. Plus, a lot of these returning soldiers will be cops soon and will need to be taught that you don’t conduct traffic stops by firing into the engine block of the car you want stopped.
