Hope is a Devil Ray

Dukes went yard in Toronto. 1-0 Rays, early. In typical Red Sox fashion, they are tied with Baltimore in the top of the 3rd 2-2. Already the teams have combined for 12 hits and 4 runs. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s softball-like. No pitching, no defense, just knock after knock. Hopefully, Kevin Millar will end this in the 9th with another dinger. Make that 13 hits in 3 innings, Lowell just singled to center. What will the purists think?

Kid K is losing 3-1 to the Blue Jays. What next? Well, Troy Glaus pulled something running to first and is probably heading to the DL. This game is shaping up to be a heartbreaker. And, with nothing to do with Troy Glaus.

Its in the books, the Rays lost to the lowly Toronto Devil Jays. The Red Sox lost too. Still this was a week that was there for the taking. A week of games against Baltimore and Toronto, and we lost them all. I still won’t look at the standings. Fuzz!
