My Lai is not a Devil Ray

American soldiers murdered 500 Vietnamese villagers in cold blood. That’s right, 500. This was not done in the heat of battle, nor were there enemies soldiers in the vicinity. The villagers of My Lai were gathered up together and shot down until an American helicopter landed and leveled it’s machine gun at the murderous troops. Photographs exist of the villagers taken just moments before their death, and are not for the faint of heart. At first, the Army denied that anything wrong had taken place. Later investigations exposed the extent of the killings and no high-level military officers were punished. Remind you of anything?
