Having an Off-Day After an Off-Day is a Devil Ray

The Red Sox are off today after being off yesterday. A respite fom the long grind of the season, you ask? Here are some questions that come to mind after watching a woeful performance yesterday.

Why is it that Johnny Damon had the grace of a draft animal in center field yet seemed to catch everything hit his way and Coco Crisp glides to the ball like a gazelle but when he gets there, stumbles, bobbles, and crumbles?
Why is it that every moment of the Red Sox telecast is sponsored by something? It’s busier than Park St. at rush hour.
Why is it that Red Sox now have the weakest hitting double-play combination in baseball?
Why does the Bruin’s power play have more punch than a certain catcher’s bat?
Why? Why?
