Global Warming is not a Devil Ray

In ten years, baseball will be a winter game and only played after midnight when its cool enough to be outside. Spring training sites will be clustered around Hudson Bay and the term “tundra hop” will enter the baseball lexicon. People will spend the day laying in water-cooled sleeping bags and wondering why it was that they had to drive everywhere. Boston will be a coastal flood plain and the Red Sox will play their home games on a little league field somewhere in northern Canada. The outter walls of Fenway Park will be surrounded by sand bags and the park will be used as a salmon farm by the city’s 14,000 remaining residents.
